Podcast Read Aloud

I recorded this read aloud for use in a unit for Pacific Northwest History. Supper For Crow is adapted from a Makah Tribe folk tale and could allow students a chance to explore literature from PNW tribes and the cultural significance of tales like these. This story could also be used in a literature unit as well, where students could explore the characters and meaning of the story.

By recording the story in audio form, students can follow along with the reading, or listen to it many times. This could be useful for ELL students or any student who may need extra time with the story to understand it. Also, this recording could be an example for students to create their own read aloud of a story of their choice.
